Customer Review :
Consistently terrible pictures
This is a very disappointing camera. Almost every picture it takes is badly blurred, even when you're shooting stationary objects. My old 1.3 megapixel camera did a much better job.

you get what you pay for,
i paid 50 dollars for this camera from a walgreens. it was confusing at first but easy to figure out. the screen shows images too bright but once you get them onto a photo or computer they seem to look perfect. in good lighting with no flash it takes amazing pictures, but you can't be in the middle of a mild earthquake because it will show traces. i'd pay the extra 100 and get an optical zoom camera but this one is sufficient..

waste of money
we bought this camera before my son was born and unfortunately his newborn pics are blurred, over time I tweaked it a little and still found the pics are bad, out of focus, blurred, red eye, too light, too dark, you name it. Waste of money if you value your pictures. I am pissed the first year of my son's life is captured by this horrible camera.

Nice camera!!
i got this for Christmas,i was thinking it might not be too great since its from polaroid, but boy was i wrong.this thing takes amazing pictures.extremely sharp.i put a 512 mb sd card in it and that makes it hold lots and lots of photos.well over a hundred even at a higher resolution setting.my only complaint is that the lcd screen does make the pictures look alot brighter than they really are.minor complaint tho because the pics are actually amazing.i definitely recommend this camera.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
I purchased this camera just for casual use when I don't want to take my SLR out under questionable weather conditions and risk getting it damaged. Bottom line, this was $50 from Walmart, and a true case of "you get what you pay for".. horrible picture quality, the "OK" button only works once in awhile, there is about a 5 second lag time between taking one picture and the next, and it won't even erase a photo like it's supposed to. Needless to say I am returning this poor quality item. Don't waste your money on this!

Questions & Answers
Question : How Do I delete pictures from a Polaroid i534 digital Camera?
I purchased a Polariod Digital off of ebay, and it takes great pictures, but I can't figure out how to delete them from the camera. It did not come with a user's manual. I purchased this one for my teenager. Any help will be appreciated.
Answer:
Nearly everyone these days has a website. You go there, and download the electronic version of the manual.
Page 26 shows you how to delete.
Make sure to regularly format the card via the camera, it helps to prevent problems (page 15).
Here is the link directly to it: http://www.polaroid.com/service/userguides/digital/cameras/i534_ug_en.pdf

Question : can i put a sony memory chip in my polaroid digital camera?
My polaroid was a cheap 80 dollar digital,
and it sais its memory can be expanded to 1 GB if i buy a memory chip.
At the circuit city near me, the polaroid 1 GB chips are 40 dollars, but the sony 1 GB chips are only 20 dollars.
they both look the same, so why should i spend more for the same thing?
Answer:
the difference in price is due to the difference in read/write speed.
these speeds are gauged in a number like "20x". these speeds can go up to "150x". these high speeds only make a difference in writing speed to the card, so don't expect anything amazing from a more expensive card.
since you bought a realitively cheap camera, the sony should be great, the polaroid would be overkill - but would be compatable too.

Question : Which polaroid digital camera would be be better for me?
My Polaroid i533 was stolen yesterday. It had 5.0 Megapixels. To replace it, there are 6 and 7 megapixels by Polaroid out there. Are they really that much better quality pictures? I do a lot of cropping and editing on pictures and did sometimes get the warning that they did not recommend the print size that I had chosen. Would a 6 or 7 improve that?
Answer:
Well i have a Poloroid too!! But since you do editing you should DEFENETLY get the 7 megapixels. It is a WHOLE lot better for that stuff.
