Customer Review :
Great camera for the price and outstanding customer service!
Polaroid's outstanding customer service makes this camera an excellent purchase. I received the camera in exchange for a less expensive, different model camera that had a defect. The exchange was made quickly and easily.
The camera is easy to use and has more features than I expected from an inexpensive camera. Picture quality is better than one should expect from an inexpensive camera. At the highest resolution a picture can be zoomed to display excellent detail.Polaroid A500 5.1MP Digital Camera with 4x Digital Zoom

Don't Waste Your Money
Put your money towards a better camera by Nikon or Olympus. Every picture I take that is not naturally lit comes out fuzzy no matter what I do. There are horrible glare problems, the flash lag is very frustrating as well as the lag between pictures. When the flash is reloading you can't do anything else on the camera - it is like it's frozen - not even turn the camera off or use the menu. The camera has a cheap plastic feel, the LCD screen is pretty small. Overall, this is a camera I would give to my 7 year old daughter. If you want good pictures go somewhere else. I would recommend the Nikon Coolpix series or the Sony DSPs.

HORRIBLE picture quality
I tried over and over to convince myself that this camera will get better as time goes by, and I am done trying. The picture quality is absolutely horrible and really frustrating when you want to take a picture in a place with not-so-bright lighting. Even with a flash, the pictures still come out really dark...please spend your money on another camera.....

Horrible Product!!
Polaroid T737 - Digital camera - compact - 7.0 Mpix - optical zoom: 3 x - supported memory: MMC, SD
I bought 2 Polaroid t737 cameras in Decemeber 2007, after 3 months both of them stopped working. One of the cameras would not turn on and the other one would not read the memory card. Talked to Polaroid customer service, they told me that I have to ship the cameras to them but they would not pay for the shipping the cameras to them.
Also picture quality is not great. It is okay for this price as long as it works. Mine broke in 3 months....I would not recommend buying this product. I bought these cameras after reading multiple reviews but in the end it did not work for me.

awful camera
This camera is terrible. The only reason I gave it one star is because I couldnt give it zero. I was going to buy myself a good camera but my mother-in-law got me this camera for christmas. When your inside the flash is too bright, when your outside its too dark, and of course you cant use the flash outside because then its really bright. lame. luckily i have a good camera now. The only good thing about this camera is it raises awareness to help breast cancer research.

Terrible Camera
I bought 2 of these as gifts for Christmas. The picture quality was horrible. The pictures all have an orange hue to them. The LCD is so dark you can not even make out what you are taking a picture of. I was expecting a lot more for a camera from polaroid. I have actually bought 2 new cameras to replace these because i feel guilty for giving such crappy gifts to my family!!!!

It's an Ok Camera
This camera is ok. it takes the picture and the quality is ok. i love the size and color, that was the reason i got it. i havent had any problems with the battery life. All in all this camera is okay, i would recommend it if you want just a simple easy to use camera!

You get what you pay for
I bought this camera on a whim because my wife wanted one she could throw in her pocket and go, my mistake. The screen IS VERY DARK, the battery life sucks, the time it takes to capture a picture is horible, overall this is a very poor camera. If your looking for a cheap-o excuse for a digital this is it.

cute,works,screen is NOT dark
this digital camera is the best! well,ok,I guess it's not an 8 megapixel luxery model. but I can take it anywhere and it's durable (I know this because I've already dropped it once lol)(but I'm not saying that you can drop it whenever you like either) Anyway, all these other reveiws that say that the screen is too dark probably just got defective cameras or they are too picky! If the picture turns out dark its probably because they didn't have the flash on (you turn the flash on by pushing the up arrow)and if it's too bright when they do have the flash on it's because they are too close.Whenever you have the flash on the picture is always clear.Even if you keep moving the camera around! It also does videos with sound but when you watch the video on the camera you won't be able to here it even though it has a speaker on the side. but you can still watch it on the computer WITH sound.Sometimes when you take a picture without the flash it will end up blurry but not all the time. For example if I let my mom take the picture without flash (she doesn't really know how to work it that well) she will move the camera away too fast (you have to hold the camera still for a few seconds).Or if you are in the car and it's really bumpy the picture will turn out blurry. But when I take a picture of my hamster (she moves around alot)the picture will sometimes turn out blurry but I've taken alot of pictures of her that turn out great.Oh and when you watch a video on the computer the sound is good quality.I love this camera so much!I've even put little stick-on rhine stones on the front! This little camera is so cute!you just should keep it in a case since it doesn't have a lense cover.GREAT CAMERA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE SCREEN IS NOT THAT DARK!AND THE MONEY IS GOING TO A GOOD CAUSE!BUY IT! sorry if I misspelled anything. not a very good speller. :-)

Questions & Answers
Question : can i put a sony memory chip in my polaroid digital camera?
My polaroid was a cheap 80 dollar digital,
and it sais its memory can be expanded to 1 GB if i buy a memory chip.
At the circuit city near me, the polaroid 1 GB chips are 40 dollars, but the sony 1 GB chips are only 20 dollars.
they both look the same, so why should i spend more for the same thing?
Answer:
the difference in price is due to the difference in read/write speed.
these speeds are gauged in a number like "20x". these speeds can go up to "150x". these high speeds only make a difference in writing speed to the card, so don't expect anything amazing from a more expensive card.
since you bought a realitively cheap camera, the sony should be great, the polaroid would be overkill - but would be compatable too.

Question : how can I get my polaroid digital camera work as a web-cam?
I have been wanting to use my 6.0 megapixel camera as my web cam. Have done everything that the instructions tell me still nothing. can anyone help me?
Answer:
You can't, the USB interface on digital cameras is purely for data transfer, it just goes straight to the flash storage in the card or built into the camera.

Question : Which polaroid digital camera would be be better for me?
My Polaroid i533 was stolen yesterday. It had 5.0 Megapixels. To replace it, there are 6 and 7 megapixels by Polaroid out there. Are they really that much better quality pictures? I do a lot of cropping and editing on pictures and did sometimes get the warning that they did not recommend the print size that I had chosen. Would a 6 or 7 improve that?
Answer:
Well i have a Poloroid too!! But since you do editing you should DEFENETLY get the 7 megapixels. It is a WHOLE lot better for that stuff.

Question : Repair work for a Polaroid Digital camera?
My Polaroid Digital camera seems to be having trouble with the light meter. It uses the flash when there is enough light but when it's dark the flash won't go off. I have it set on automatic flash. This wasn't a problem until recently. Should I contact the manufacturer to see about getting it repaired of are their any camera repair shops out there?
Answer:
contact manufacturer

3.5megapixels or more
Answer:
You can turn off the beep by going to the menu. Not knowing what kid of model you have, it is difficult to say. However, you can find instruction in your User Guide. In case you lost it, go to Polaroid website
Select the country, digital camera, and look for user guide of your camera model.
Here is a PDF file example how to turn off beep on page 14.
This might solve your problem.

Question : How Do I delete pictures from a Polaroid i534 digital Camera?
I purchased a Polariod Digital off of ebay, and it takes great pictures, but I can't figure out how to delete them from the camera. It did not come with a user's manual. I purchased this one for my teenager. Any help will be appreciated.
Answer:
Nearly everyone these days has a website. You go there, and download the electronic version of the manual.
Page 26 shows you how to delete.
Make sure to regularly format the card via the camera, it helps to prevent problems (page 15).
Here is the link directly to it: http://www.polaroid.com/service/userguides/digital/cameras/i534_ug_en.pdf
