Yes, It's 10MP, very clear. But, I also experienced the problem of some buzz with the button. And, it seems that I need to learn to deal with the weak light.

third times the charm??
I bought this camera while i was pregnant because i figured i would need a good one for when the baby came. I was really pleased with it and it did take really nice photos. The videos werent the best but i suppose you cant expect perfect videos from a cheap camera. When the baby came i had someone running around the delivery room snapping pictures. Every other picture was blurry. I dont know if it was the operator or just the camera. I did notice that you had to wait a long time and have the perfect light for the camera to take really good pics. After having the camera for about 2 or 3 months i had an accident involving dirty baby clothes a misplaced camera and a washing machine...needles to say the camera didnt make it out alive. I decided to go ahead and buy the same camera agian. I was still pleased with it but a little bummed i couldnt find the 10mp for as cheap so instead i had to settle for the 8.2. Anyways im an avid review reader and i had read a couple that said the camera straight up quit working after 6 months. I decided to ignore them because most of the other comments were totally positive. I had my second camera for about 5 months and it died...on its own...no washing machine involved. It was like the Auto Focus just completely quit working for some reason. (really bad timing too because i was at the hospital with my friend while she was having HER baby when i found out it quit working.) Anyway i liked the camera but cant decide if i want to try it out a third time and risk the chance of getting burned.

a bit hit and miss, really.
I did a bit of research on this camera before making the decision to buy it. Apparently I just didn't do enough.
At 10mp, the quality is disappointing. I've had cameras that were perhaps 4mp and yet they still took sharper, clearer photos. As much as I play with the settings, and no matter how steady the photo is or how careful I am in paying attention to the lighting, I still find it falling behind my first Kodak from 1998. This is not a good thing, in the least.
It is also very fragile! I had to send in my first one for a broken lens when it slipped out of my hand and hit the table, even though I had the wrist strap on and the fall was perhaps a few inches.
On the bright side, it is extremely easy to navigate, and focuses very well, even if the quality isn't as wonderful as I had been hoping. All in all, it is a fairly good camera for its price, and beats out most other digitals in its price range. However, I think I'll do a bit more review reading the next time I buy a camera -- and probably go crawling back to Nikon for the quality/durability combo I desire.

Camera Review
This is simple easy to use camera. The telephoto lens is amazing, and the 8.1 mega pixel pictures are superb. I love this camera. Batteries seem to last and last. Threw my wifes old one away and brought her one of these. Super value for a low, low price.

We love this camera!
I bought this camera for my husband. I thought since I already had a Kodak easyshare, that I would stick with what I know. He took it with him on his fishing trip and he loved using it. It makes great pictures! The price was right and I feel like I should replace my old camera very soon!

Very Good, for Steady Hands...
When I bought this camera, I was very Excited. It captures with a professional style any photo, but it has serious problems with Motion Performances and specially with ISO-taken pictures. It looks a lot grainy and with extremely high noise. I tried everything to fix this, but is not possible. The video capturing is very good, and also the Smart Scene and Scenes Options are amazing. The Manual option is also great. The problem is Motion and ISO pictures.
The Zoom its outstanding...
For Semi-Prefessionals, I give it 3.8/5

Nice and practical!
I bought this Camera a few days ago and I have taken excellent photos with it. It is compact and has several interesting functions. It is cheaper than others but it is a Kodak. I like this one.

GREAT picture - BUT...
Camera takes a GREAT picture, but it broke the first time it was used! I have sent it back to Kodak for repair, but that adds delay and additional cost! Hope the next one is repaired instead of just repackaged!!!!

I am not impressed
This camera has been a headache since I got it last year. The major flaw that I have found is that the flash is entirely too bright. Most of my pictures with the flash come out looking like things are glowing. I have tried playing with the flash but it doesn't work.
Another issue I have with it is that it takes too long to get the picture. Again, I've experimented with settings but it doesn't help. The pause is long enough to screw up any posed shots (someone thinks the picture was taken and moves) and forget action shots.
If anyone moves, the picture gets a blur. Oh and let's not forget that sometimes parts of the picture seem blurry even without anyone having moved.
I can't wait to find a better deal on a camera and get rid of this one. I had an older easyshare before this one and LOVED it. This one, not so much.

My 16 yr old son needed a camera for his Spring Break trip. 11 days in Costa Rico for Environmental Science class. I had already written a big check for the trip and he wasn't using MY camera. Found the refurbished camera section on Amazon.com. Great find!! He did have the camera at his return with awesome pictures!! All for less than $70!! (if he had lost it, not such a great $$ loss)

I love kodak
Kodak EasyShare C653 6.1MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom.... I bought this camera earlier this year..I love kodak product I went back to kodak after purchasing a samsung camera that I wasn't pleased with at all...what I love most about kodak is the simplicity anyone can operate these cameras and they won't have to worry about a bad shot..my only complaint with this camera is the delay once you press the button to take a picture other than that I have no complaints.

Questions & Answers
Question : Question about Kodak digital camera and windows movie maker?
I have a Kodak digital "easy share" camera. It records video and i've put a couple video files from my camera directly on my computer. I can view them through Quicktime or on the internet (after uploaded), but windows media player doesnt work for them. They are in ".mov" format, and i dont know why i cant play them on windows. I also want to know why it wont let me upload them onto windows movie maker to edit and make a movie out of them. It says that ".mov" files are uploadable under WMM help, yet every time i try to upload them it says something along the lines of it not being compatable.
Does anybody know why this is? Is there a way i can change it or fix it? I've gone through windows help of all sorts and cant seem to come to a solution.
Serious answers only please.
Thankyou!!!

I have a Kodak digital camera and have home movies that I took with it saved on my computer. They are erased off of the camera memory now. I also have them saved on a flash drive. I'm trying to find out if the videos or pictures can be viewed on something else like an ipod, from the flash drive, or if you can burn them to a DVD or something like that. Also can you plug the flash drive into anything else to view the contents besides a computer or laptop?

Question : Best Kodak Digital Camera, or Digital Cameras in general?
I'm planning on buying a digital camera soon and I was just wondering which Kodak Digital Camera is best. Some of my choices include: Kodak Easyshare V1273, Kodak Easyshare V1073, Or the Kodak Easyshare M883.
I was also wondering if Kodak is a good Camera brand & if not, Which camera do you consider is good.
Answer:
Why Kodak? It's not a good brand for "Cameras" believe me.
I'd suggest to go through some reviews before you make your decision. My favorite site for this is: www.dpreview.com (You may need to know the basic elements in digital photography to make a good choice)
Finally, I'd go for Sony, Canon, Olympus, or Panasonic. Those are the really good ones.
Good Luck...

Question : How can I get a clearer picture on my Kodak digital camera?
I have a P850 Kodak digital camera and I can't get close up pictures ( of flowers, animals etc..) to be very clear. Any suggestions?
Answer:
well if you have the 24-140 lens than your minimum focusing distance is 2.0 - 20.4 inches in macro focusing range according the datasheet online i found for this camera.
if you are staying within those limits and have the lens or camera set to macro it should be in focus. if not try using a tripod to keep the camera steady alot of times its you moving and you don't realize it. if not staying within 2.0-20.4 inches of your subject and you need to get further or closer try close up filters wich any decent camera store should sell and carry. or try buying a macro lens which only does macro. lmk if these solutions don't help- i love helping solve camera problems like this.

Question : Can i somehow put filters on my tiny kodak digital camera??
I have a small kodak digital camera, it's just plain digital. It doesn't even have a "mm" sized lense. Just a regular digital camera. is there a way to adapt lenses to it? would they be effective if i had to rig up something? or would the become deffective because of the distance between the lens and the filter?
Answer:
what sort of filters do you want to add to it? in this age of digital photography the only useful filter would be a UV filter for protection, any other effects could be replicated in digital editing. If you do want effects without editing, you could get away with holding up a filter to the lens but, really, why? and yes, the further you hold from the lens, the more distortion you will get. but hey, try it. no harm can come...

Question : I have a Kodak Digital Camera and it got wet, how can I fix it myself?
I have a Kodak Easy Share Z740 Digital Camera that was sent to get repaired but the extendant warranty does not cover water/moisture getting into the camera. My dad is going to kill me when he finds out!! I'm in a hurry,Please help me.
Answer:
If you have to ask you don''t have the technical ability yourself. Look in your phone book and see if there is a local camera repair centre and pay for the repair yourself.
As this camera is a low end one it may not be worth the cost of repairing it. Maybe a replacement is in order.
Have you ever thought of being honest with your father? As a parent I know I would prefer the last option.
Good luck

Question : I have a "dinosaur" (old, big) Kodak digital camera. How do I get it to install to my computer?
I called Kodak support and they no longer provide support for my model, the DX3500. However, the rep did tell me that it is compatible with Kodak's EasyShare software. I lost the software it came with in a move. Beyond that, I am clueless.
When I plug my USB into the computer, nothing happens, the Easyshare software that I downloaded does not automatically pop up. When I try and install the camera in "Control Panel" my model does not come up on the list, so it says to to use the software.
Is there something about being the administrator of the computer???
Any help you have would be great. I have 400+ pictures of my NB twins on my camera that I cannot download and need to get a new camera when I can afford one! So any tips you have are greatly appreciated since I'm stuck with this one in the meantime!
Thanks!

Question : i recently broke the internal screen of my kodak digital camera. Is it fixable?
the camera was a kodak c513 eashy share camera. the external screen isn't cracked, but the internal screen is. the camera only costs about $85, but it is sold out in most stores.
how much would it cost to fix, if at all fixable?
Answer:
It can be fixed, but it would probably cost $85 to fix, or more. So, you must ask yourself, is this worth fixing? You can easily get a much better camera for $100, or an even better one for $150. Personally, I would just buy a new camera.
