I liked mine so well I got a second one as a spare. Digital cameras are a new thing for me. I got mine 3 days before a trip. It is a nice small size and easy to use. The viewing screen is large enough to provide a great picture. The control dial, selection button and menu are easily accessably by thumb as well as the playback & delete buttons. It provides an audible & visual alert when the still picture is in focus. It does movies with audio and has many other features not mentioned here. It uses two AA batteries (reg. or rechargeable), & I liked this feature when overseas. A very nice all around friendly camera to use.

Great Camera!!!

I was looking for a camera for my mom (her first digital!) and since I am familiar with Sony Cybershot I decided to get her this one. I agree this is an excellent choice for people who are not very fond of technology, very user-friendly and the screen has a pretty good size. It is also lightweight considering it uses AA batteries. I love the fact that it gives a brief description of the setting you are selecting, once again great for beginners! The internal memory is very helpful since it doesn't come with a memory stick. Great quality pictures, too bad my mom probably won't use most of the different settings.

Good

Good pictures. This camera does not put the date on the picture. You have to do it manually through the sofware included. In my opinion it's a disadvantage although you can choose the color of the date.

Cyberright!!

I purchase the Cybershot and was very amazed. The picture was very clear and with very little know how I was able to use the different functions easily. My family and I will really enjoy our vacation more with our long lasting pictures of places we have seen. That's why Cybershot is Cyberright for us. Thank you Sony!!!

Question : How NASA manage to get our milky way pictures from billion light years away as if it was taken from far away
I saw our milky way pictures taken by NASA and wonder how we manage to get those pictures since moon is the furthest place a human has gone and set his foot on,the voyager is the furthest man made object which is stil traveling on its own .The milky way picture suggest that somebody has gone to the outer part of it and snap a shot for us to see

Answer:
we can see almost the whole milky way from earth. under the right light conditions, this is what we can see. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/70/Deathvalleysky_nps_big.jpg there are 3 notable images types The real Milky Way http://www.astro.lu.se/Resources/Vintergatan/milkyway.gif http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/COBE we send a camera (COBE) into space and we get the same view only a little bit more and clearer. The camera that takes the pictures isn't stationary. it pans and takes a bunch of pictures then we stitch them together into a "mosaic" (even though its an impressive picture it still does not include the whole milky way) Artistic renderings (drawn or cg) Here's a computer rendered milky way model http://msnbcmedia1.msn.com/j/msnbc/Components/Photos/050816/050816_milky_way_vlrg_8a.standard.jpg And other galaxies that look like ours(a spiral galaxy) http://www.tqnyc.org/NYC041174/images/milkyway.bmp

Question : Have been any pictures taken from planet explosion so far
A massive collision is probably the easiest and most likely. Two planets colliding could break both apart, splashing planetary material out across the solar system. Another possibility would be for a very large ball of antimatter to strike a planet. That would create a marvelous explosion--a sufficiently large mass of antimatter could blow a planet apart.

Answer:
No, there are no pictures of planetary explosions. We only know of one: ours. And it turned out rather well. The seasons are usually pleasant and the moon looks very pretty sitting there in the sky. Unfortunately there were no photographers to capture the collision in all its glory. By and large it is impossible to photograph extrasolar planets. And the chances of seeing a collision occur are astronomical. Bad pun intended.
